The opportunity:
As an Insurance Specialist, you will provide exceptional financial advice and service to our customers. Ensuring that the customers’ needs are the core focus of all interactions and that any advice given is appropriate and fits within the AIA NZ nominated representative framework.

This is a full-time salaried role, and we will provide comprehensive training to complement the skills you bring. Our solid reputation, coupled with a modern approach makes this a great stepping-stone for someone looking to become a Financial Adviser.

Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inbound and outbound phone calls from/to AIA NZ customers and assisting them regarding their insurance needs- Understanding and complying with all regulatory requirements- Completing all required training, development, education requirements, and product accreditations on an ongoing basis- Managing customer needs and contacting them within agreed service levels- Building networks and relationships across Partnership Insurance and Customer teams- Ensuring all advice interactions, customer documentation and notes are captured correctly- Contributing to a high performing team through participation and a commitment to professional development- Ensuring that customers have a positive experience.

Ideally, you’ll bring:
- A New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services (NZCFS Level 5 Version 2)- Exceptional written and oral communication skills and enjoy talking to people everyday- Proven experience in superior relationship management, developing deep connections with internal and external stakeholders at all levels- The ability to demonstrate value through phone-based relationships- A resilient attitude and a care-driven approach to customer management- A passion for helping New Zealanders protect what matters most.
