**Job Description**:
In this Insurance Claims Specialist (Chapter Member - Insurance and Claims) role, you will work with NZ insurance companies to facilitate the replacement of products through our store network. On top of supporting our customers across their technology and appliance insurance, we are expanding into the sporting goods arena for Torpedo7 - presenting an opportunity to add to the team someone with passion/expertise in the bikes and sporting equipment area.
- Based in our Support Office in Northcote, please note our Insurance Support team operate a 5-day work week. Working 40 hours between Monday-Saturday, rotating the Saturday shift within the team.
**Qualifications**:
To succeed in this role, we are looking for a thoroughly customer-focused individual who is truly passionate about ensuring we keep the customer at the centre of everything we do. We offer full training - what’s important is your personality and attitude - we are looking for someone who is positive, has a ‘can do’ attitude and is ready to roll up their sleeves and support the team.
Success will be summed up with your ability to execute the above duties by being a helpful and trusted advisor to key stakeholders such as customers and our team members across TWG. Living and breathing attributes such as collaboration and a growth mindset will come naturally to you, along with thriving in a busy ever-changing environment.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a customer-centric mindset - advantageous if you have worked in a customer support environment
- Passion/knowledge or expertise with bikes and sporting equipment
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) - a clear, calm, well-spoken phone manner and ability to listen.
- With your naturally empathetic and resilient nature, you’ll be able to stay positive even when the pressure may be on.
- Computer literate with a strong eye for detail
- Up for the challenge of working to target and KPI’s
- Adaptable and of course passionate about our customers
