**Te Tūranga - The Role**:
Our Consents team is working on streamlining the consenting processand we need your help
- Completing tasks within consenting process.
- Supporting our team to prepare for a large number of consents on the horizon.
- Streamlining the consenting process.
- Supporting out duty consents query.

You’ll be joining the Resource Consents Team.

- You’ll get to see what protecting the environment looks like at the operational level.
- We get to work with the community to allow them to access our natural resources.

**Ngā Pūkenga, ngā wheako - Your Skills & Experience**:

- Proven ability to make autonomous decisions.
- A growth mindset is essential.
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
- Good written communication.
- A background or interest in resource management would be an advantage.
- Study towards resource management or science would be beneficial.
- Hold a current driver's licence.

This position will be located in Tauranga or Whakatne.

Our Toi Moana Summer Experience Programme has been running for more than 30 years because we believe one of the best ways to learn is on the job. Each year our Summer Assistants play an important role by supporting our teams and completing important pieces of work around the Bay of Plenty. There is no better place to contribute to your community and the environment you live in, while working alongside passionate and professional experts in their fields.
