**Te Tūranga - The Role**:
Our Te Amorangi team provide strategic advice and leadership on Māori outcomes, relationship management and organisation integration of Te Ao Māori and we need your help We are seeking two individuals to:

- Support our work with hapū and iwi around policy, planning and environment management kaupapa.
- Support the development of Iwi, Hapū Environmental Management planning documents.
- Work collaboratively with tangata whenua throughout the Bay of Plenty region.
- Support initiatives to strengthen Māori capability and capacity to engage in the work of our Council.

You’ll be joining the Te Amorangi team in either our Whakatāne or Tauranga offices.

**Ngā Pūkenga, ngā wheako - Your Skills & Experience**:

- Understanding and ability to work in a tikanga and Te Ao Māori space.
- Ability to read, analyse and summarise documents.
- Passion for looking at innovative and smarter ways of working.
- Ability to work in different databases and other programmes.
- Able to work independently.
- Ideally be studying or planning to commence studying towards Environmental Planning, Policy, Legal, Local Government or Resource Management related qualification.
- Hold a current driver's licence.
