**About the team**:
We're looking for someone who is methodical, accurate and proactive to support the administration of one of New Zealand's largest district plans and resource consent process. You will be a part of a high performing and experienced Development Support team. Your role will be to ensure we are regularly updating the district plan, notifying plan changes, recording submissions and overseeing the hearings process.

**About the role**:
In this senior role you will:

- Allocate and monitor workloads to ensure statutory timeframes are met and achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
- Respond promptly to LGOIMAs.
- Process invoicing and payments.
- Undertake data reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements.

**About you**:
Your background will include being in a process orientated position that allows your passion and skill for high level administration functions to be prevalent. You'll need to be able to work under pressure, responding to changing priorities with tight deadlines. You will also be customer focused with excellent communication skills to provide senior administrative services to the consenting process for a range of the Council's regulatory functions for the Planning & Consents. You will have:

- At least 6 years' experience in a responsible position in a regulatory environment and in government or local government.
- A tertiary qualification in resource management, law or public administration.
- Sound knowledge of the RMA and legislation relevant to the position, statutory processes and documents, along with detailed knowledge of the District Plan.
- Strong computer literacy skills, advanced Microsoft word and excel skills are essential.
