To view the position description, click here.Our Senior Programme Coordinators work at a high level and therefore you'll certainly be kept busy, with the following:

- Supporting the preparation and maintenance of portfolio plans and schedules
- Understanding the overall scope and particulars of the work within the portfolio.
- Assessing the portfolio risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
- Identifying issues and risks for escalation to the Portfolio Leadership team and helping to provide strategies to mitigate them.
- Supporting effective governance and assurance functions
- Coordinate tracking and management of programme and project changes within the portfolio
- Leading the continuous improvement of our coordination capability, processes and tools

Ko koe tēnei | About you In order to thrive in this role, you will bring:

- Proven experience working as a project/programme coordinator in a complex, fast-moving programmes and/or PMO, EPMO environment
- An understanding of risk management and assurance controls and associated project and programme reporting and quality standards and project lifecycle processes
- Experience with project management information systems (preferably with Planview) is desirable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and Visio
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship building skills and experience

You will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Māori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Māori. You will also have knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an appreciation of te Tiriti o Waitangi (the Treaty of Waitangi) as it applies in the public sector.
