We’re seeking the support of a **Digital and Social Communications Advisor **to join our team in either Wellington or Auckland on a full-time permanent basis.
**Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity**
We are at an exciting point in our journey, with the opportunity to grow our online presence to ensure our content is appropriate and engaging for our stakeholders. Our audience transects all parts of society so you will be able to speak to whānau in a meaningful manner.
This role is responsible for creating and managing content for our digital and social channels that is engaging, channel-appropriate, user-focused and relevant. This will include a focus on our social media (currently Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn), alongside support for our website and intranet content.
You’ll work across the business, from supporting our operational staff with communicating key messages, to owning our social media pages. Collaborate with our Fundraising team to ensure we are aligned, providing a seamless experience for our customers that truly tells the Whānau Āwhina Plunket story.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised communications professional who can collaborate with staff across all levels of an organisation, to help tell our story.
You will be a forward-thinking expert with a high level of confidence in engaging, leading and critiquing in the digital and social sphere. You’ll be agile in the way you operate, ready to try new options and refresh our strategy.
With the flair to create creative and engaging content, you’ll also have the skillset to analyse and review social media performance and make recommendations for improvement. Prior experience in producing and editing video content would be advantageous as would experience working in a not for profit sector.
