Ko tā mātou mahi - Our Role
Social media expert? As our newest Advisor - Social Media, you'll be the voice of Kāinga Ora on social media and responsible for the management of Kāinga Ora's social media channels. The role is responsible for the day-to-day operation of our social media accounts, including: managing all content publishing, online community management, and providing advice and support to social media campaigns. Alongside reporting of social media performance to senior management, this role also provides a future-focus and strategy of the direction of social media channels.
This role will work alongside the wider Marketing, Communications and Stakeholder teams to ensure content is appropriately planned amongst other Kāinga Ora communications activities, as well as ensuring content is fit for social media. You'll provide expert social media advice to the wider marketing team, and other key groups across the organisation, and will work, our external agencies to drive the delivery of marketing campaigns, or targeted activity.
Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu - What you will bring
- A relevant tertiary qualification is desirable but not required, plus job related experience
- Proven (around 5 years) experience in developing or championing an organisation's brand via digital and social channels.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of social media management, including content and paid publishing and scheduling.
- You'll be a clear and confident communicator, who can write for humans and Kiwi users of social media. Your communication skills will enable you to successfully develop, facilitate and manage both external and internal communications and relationships.
- Experienced with photography and/or video production for the purposes of social media content.
