**The role**:
This role reports to the Principal Communications Advisor and is responsible for delivering communications services across the organisation. This role involves creating, editing and publishing engaging and accurate content for digital platforms with a primary focus on the website and intranet. The advisor will ensure that all content is user-friendly and adheres to both government web content best practices and Te Tāhū Hauora's brand and style guidelines.
**Key Accountabilities**:

- Develop, edit, and publish engaging, accurate content for our website and intranet.
- Ensure content meets New Zealand Government accessibility and usability standards.
- Monitor and update digital channels, including social media and provide support to the communications team as required.

**About you**:
To be successful in this position, you will need proven experience in:

- Qualification and/or experience in PR, communications, journalism or a related field.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience in creating and editing web and social media content.
- Proficiency with content management systems e.g. Silverstripe or Sharepoint.
- Digital design skills are advantageous but not essential.
