GrainCorp Feeds is a national animal feed business, based in Hamilton NZ, dealing with corporate and farming customers across New Zealand. GrainCorp Feeds offers a comprehensive range of high-quality liquid and dry dairy and calf feeds suitable for a variety of feeding systems and developed to improve on-farm production, reproduction, performance and profitability. We have a critical focus on keeping herds healthy through our dairy feeds and bulk liquid storage facilities.

**About the role**

We are looking to secure a solutions focused Territory Manager for our North Waikato region - with the successful individual ideally based out of Hamilton (or the surrounding region).

This role has a strong client base and as such, we are looking for a driven, proactive and self-motivated sales and business development professional. You will join our GrainCorp Feeds business and be responsible for customer retention, partnering with our customers to add value and new client acquisition.

This is a rewarding time to join our business as we are experiencing a strong period of growth and there are exciting innovations to support you and our customers to success. In addition, the role requires you to meet/exceed sales targets; create sales strategies to target customers; implement sales and marketing initiatives; forecast demand and providing regular market feedback.

**About your experience**
The successful individual will present with valuable experience within the Agricultural Sales environment with a proven track record in account management/sales and/or business development. Experience within the animal feeds/farming or nutrition industry would be highly regarded however we have an open mind as to what success might look like in this position. Regardless of your previous experience, you will pride yourself on your ability to build and develop new relationships, and to manage your own time effectively.

Other key skills include;
- Proven experience in successful lead generation, cold calling and customer acquisition
- Exceptional levels of service and highly knowledgeable on your product offering and value proposition
- Proficient in MS Word and Excel
- Drive and ambition to continuously develop your skill set, capability and experience
- This role will require some travel.
