**About the opportunity | Te whai waahi**

The Milk Quality Advisory role will see you virtually supporting our farmers with world class milk quality support and advice to drive on-farm change that improves on-farm efficiency and productivity.

This will be delivered through one-on-one technical milk quality and food safety advice, individually tailored to enable farmers to improve business resilience, improve milk quality performance, support the farming of healthy cared for cows and achieve the aspirations of The Co-operative Difference framework.

To successfully achieve results, you’ll engage your agricultural expertise, have strong Stakeholder management skills and a passion for the dairy industry.

**About you | Moe koe**

We are looking for a proactive self-starter with second-to-none communication skills and an ability to get along with people from all backgrounds. You will need to be resilient, able to negotiate tricky situations and stakeholders, and have excellent attention to detail.

With that in hand, you’ll bring strong knowledge of food safety best practice and have a genuine interest in the dairy industry. Most importantly, you will come from an agricultural background yourself, having a solid understanding of on-farm practices to be able to advise farmers.
