The Role
Synlait are looking for a Quality Internal Auditor for a permanent contract opportunity.

Working from our Pokeno or Mangere based offices, this role reports to the Quality Internal Auditor Lead and requires collaboration across multiple business units.

This is a supportive environment where the main role responsibilities include

  • Ensuring the quality internal audit programme is effectively executed on time and in full.
  • Support compliance of organisational processes and outputs to Synlait Standards.
  • Ensure collaboration with, and execution of, customer, regulatory and tactical certification requirements.
  • Providing reports, direction and up to date knowledge to all internal and external stakeholders to support quality processes


This is a stepping stone into future leadership roles and key to your success will be your organisation, proactive ethos and ability to communicate at all levels.


Skills and Experience


This is a role working 40 hours a week and there may be the ability to discuss flexibility of the work location and hours with the Hiring Manager to suit your work/life balance.

To be considered for this role will require

  • Previous strong auditing experience
  • Formal advanced or lead audit training, or relevant experience
  • The ability to communicate, technically, both written and verbal, to all levels of a business
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Pride in the quality of your work and the accomplishments you achieve


Educational certification in dairy processing would be seen as an advantage as would competency in the Microsoft Office suite of skills.
