**About the Role**:
The purpose of this National Account Management role is to achieve full year key account sales budgets, within trade spend budget, lead the development of New World/Pak n Save sales strategy in Foodstuffs North Island and South Island. You will deliver flawless execution of plans which grow the account to meet business objectives and position SCJ to meet competitor challenges and future changes in the business. With one direct report, you will provide strong leadership to the Senior Associate in your team and ensure that key joint objectives are met.

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Active contribution to NZ Corplan process (annual budgeting)
- Develop and implement sales plans to deliver the achievement of account sales budgets - achievement of ranging and Tier 1 distribution targets for both NPD and current base range SKU's along with speed to market targets
- NPD Presentations - Briefing and managing Tier 1 ranging & base distribution
- Delivery of monthly sales plan
- Implementation and execution of SCJ pricing and promotional strategies
- Co-ordinate growth plans and execution objectives with Australian marketing team
- Conduct business review of key issues by customer
- Manage deal spend within the guidelines
- Identify opportunities for profit improvement and cost savings management
- Proactive and prompt resolution of business performance issues
- Provide accurate production information to Demand Manager and Production Planners of baseline and promotional volumes
**Required Skills & Experience**
- National Account Management experience of Foodstuffs is essential
- Experience in the New Zealand FMCG/Consumer Goods market
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and sustain long-term professional relationships, influence others and communicate effectively
- Strong analytical skills, with a structured & logical thought process
- Strong commercial acumen and presentation skills
- Understanding of category management and ability to use insights to further category development and expansion
- A university degree, ideally in business/marketing
