**Mō te tūranga | About the role**

This role is responsible for supporting the Museum’s governance, compliance and planning functions, including:

- Preparing high quality meeting agendas and minutes for subcommittees of the Auckland Museum Trust Board, tracking subcommittee workplans and actions, and assisting with agendas, minutes and workplans and actions for meetings of the full Trust Board.
- Supporting organisational planning and reporting, including assisting with coordination of the annual plan and annual report processes.
- Coordinating internal policy reviews, including tracking policy renewal schedules, updating policy documentation and supporting internal communication of policies.
- Coordinating responses to official information requests made under the _Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987_ (‘LGOIMA’).
- Supporting performance monitoring processes, including assisting with preparing data for KPI / statement of service performance reporting, supporting audit activities, and assisting with risk management;

**Desired Skills and Experience**:
**Ō pūmanawa | What you will bring**
- Knowledge of good governance practices in local government or in another public sector environment (including meeting management, reporting and official information obligations);
- Strong organisational and planning skills;
- Experience supporting Board and committee meetings for a public organisation, including preparing minutes and agendas and tracking workplans and actions, ideally under the LGOIMA framework;
- Excellent written and verbal communication;
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, initiative, and an ability to balance competing demands.
