**The Business**
This New Zealand owned and operated business, in the vocational education space, is looking for a Learning & Development Manager to complement their incredibly tight knit and passionate team.
The goal of supporting learners to develop skills, and realise their full potential, is directly impacting the growth of businesses and local communities.
**The Role**
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the L&D Manager will be an instructional design guru with an in-depth knowledge of Learning Management Systems. You will take the lead on designing and innovating the delivery of learning to ensure successful learner, trainer, and employer outcomes.
Staying at the forefront of vocational education, research, and best practice, your passion for enhancing learner experiences that align to learning styles, will underpin the successful transition of learners into the workplace.
This is a full-time role based in Tāmaki Makaurau / Auckland.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Developing and contributing to the online learning and assessment strategy
- Collaborating with stakeholders to create innovative learning and assessment methods ensuring learner and employer needs are met
- Reviewing learner feedback to determine potential design concerns impacting the learner experience
- Producing high-quality design solutions and redesigning existing products to meet stakeholder needs
- Creating engaging and effective virtual and paper-based efficient learning experiences
- Conducting regular reviews of learning modules post development.
**Your Background**
- A minimum of five years in vocational training and education with a focus on Learning and Development
- Exposure to unit standards
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- A strong understanding of Learning Management Systems, Articulate 360 suite, and Instructional Design
- Highly competent using Canvas (or similar), Adobe Suite (Illustrator and In Design) desirable.
