**The Opportunity**
We are looking for a
**Claims Service Lead** to join our Claims team. This is a 6-month fixed term fulltime role based in our CBD office with flexible working arrangements available.
Reporting to the Insurance - Claims Manager the Claim Services Lead is responsible for the leading the Claims team business change streams of work and to provide the management of claims and risk exposure to Fidelity. This is achieved by liaising with internal stakeholders like project services teams along with advisers, customers, health professionals, lawyers and other external and insurance providers to ensure prudent medical and financial assessments are conducted and continued throughout the duration of the claim.
Some key day to day responsibilities include:
- Facilitating workshops to assist in the planning process.
- Investigate, review and assess claims in a timely manner.
- Presenting files to Claims Committee and Complaints Committee and provide appropriate recommendation
- Liaising with relevant medical, external parties (e.g. ACC or insurance companies) financial providers, reinsurers to obtain claim information
- Critically evaluating all relevant information, identifying issues, developing solutions and managing the decision process prior to processing and payment of claims (and claims related invoices such as medical fees)
- Continually seek opportunities to improve current processes and service deliveries and assist with any testing
- Network and research to understand claims processes adopted within the industry.

With proven experience in an insurance and/or claims role you can provide a high level of empathy and commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
