**The Role**

Our exceptional people see everything as an opportunity and are always striving to make more from milk. We have an exciting opportunity for a Plant Production Planner to join our busy team on a permanent basis.

The purpose of this role to ensure that all production processes are scheduled, efficient and effective to support the delivery of the manufacturing plan. This is a critical role in the team and involves organizing detailed hour to hour production plans and delivery across the plant. You will take a collaborative approach to coordinate and ensure reliability work aligns with the production plan.

Key responsibilities include:

- Being involved in engagement actions
- Plan and optimise plant and process parameters against the high-level production plan devised by Master Scheduler, Senior Process Technicians, and Shift Team Leaders.
- Input to projects that impact directly on the production planning processes

**Qualification**
- Relevant Degree (Food Manufacturing, Chemical and Process, Engineering etc)

**Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 5 years in the dairy industry would be preferred
- Working under a food safety risk management program
- Advanced knowledge of manufacturing production systems (scheduling, in-touch automation integration, manufacturing documentation.
