About the team and role:
As a Business Growth Manager, you’ll join an established, successful, and hard-working team of hunters, problem-solvers and multi-taskers who are focused, driven, and are recognized, rewarded, and celebrated for their efforts. Most importantly, you will use your passion for new business growth, and new technology to support the Rule of Law.
You will be responsible for expanding business sales through predominantly defined and allocated “grey space” identified accounts along with whitespace opportunities across all available sales segments. The sales from the role will be allocated under the new business targets driven with strong prospecting and closing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities include:
- Achievement of monthly Greyspace target via the suite of LexisNexis tools and products.- Effectively identify and develop sales opportunities to develop a sales pipeline using prescribed sales methodology.- Collaboration with CEL/ AM’s / RM’s/ BDM in lead generation and opportunity identification.- Deliver ongoing client activities and direct client communication. Measured through NPS, Account Reviews conducted with the customer by Sales Lead - Strategic Segments or other Executives.- Actively discover, market industry intelligence and report about this on a regular business.- Access the opportunity to deploy multimedia and content solutions including but not limited too - Advance, Lexis Red, Clause Intelligence, Create and other LN products.- At any given time, you are to have a sales Pipeline with a minimum of three times the coverage of the monthly or quarterly sales billing target.- Attainment of visit rate targets and renewal rate targets.- Accurate records of customer and prospective customer contact status in the LN CRM.
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- Minimum Three (3) years Sales experience - preferably in Business Development with complex strategic solutions selling experience- Ability to write complex correspondence, proposals, and other communications to describe business requirements and solutions.- Demonstrated performance against sales objectives.- Experience in high level account management and client relationship development.- Strong presentation, communication, organization, multitasking, time management skills- Understanding of legal legislation and the legal industry preferred but not essential.- Highly developed computer skills including CRM, MS tools.- Solution selling or software selling skills preferred.
