**Who You Are**:

- Experienced in strategic planning and L&D for large, multi-discipline units
- A pro at establishing and leading practices in an adaptive and agile environment
- A strong people leader, experienced in coaching, and mentoring
- Skilled in adaptive leadership, providing autonomy and clarity
- Passionate about the L&D craft, growing people, and staying ahead of industry trends
- Excellent at building relationships and creating organizational alignment.

**Why You'll Love It Here (full benefits are listed on our Career Page)**:

- Additional 5 days leave per annum (MyDays)

- Annual salary reviews with excellent parental leave policy, with the option to purchase additional leave
- The opportunities, career paths and facilities associated with working for one of New Zealand's largest multi-utility providers
- Flexible working policy - The autonomy and trust to work flexibly from our purpose-built premises and from home, recognising the value of this flexibility in the modern world
- Discounted health insurance and free life and income insurance
- Excellent well-being programme including up to $100 annual check ups and confidential assistance programme
- Gender affirmation leave and supportive bereavement leave to be taken when you lose anyone close to you, including your pet

**Interview Questions**:
To help you be your best in our interviews, below are some key questions we intend to ask. Additional questions will be asked based on the requirements of the role.
- Can you provide an example of a time when you were leading a team, project, or work item, and you could feel that the team was in disagreement with your direction or decision. How did you approach it?
- Give us an example when you brought a significant change to team/teams or part of the organisation that resulted in improved performance.
- Talk me through an example of designing a strategy or strategic initiative that aligned learning and development with the overarching business strategy. What is the next on the horizon for L&D and how would your strategy or initiative fit with this, or need to adapt/pivot?
