**About the Role**
We currently have excited opportunity for **Technical Coordinator **position within our Distribution Project Delivery Business Unit**.**In this role you will be responsible to coordinate the day-to-day organisation of assigned technical field staff, with a focus on customer satisfaction, project delivery and co-ordination of staff on site, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, to an appropriate quality standard to achieve planned profit or better as per job bid targets.
- Planning work and interfacing with Project Manager, Design staff, Customers and Technical team.
- Assessing, developing, and implementing the most cost effective and efficient methodology and procedures to comply with the minimum requirements of the contract, without compromising safety, environmental and quality requirements.
- Scheduling resources for technical project works in conjunction with Project Manager.
- Coordinating assigned technical staff and providing assistance and guidance as required to maintain excellence in productivity and industrial relations.
- Assessing project risks to prevent inadvertent power outages and equipment damage to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assisting the Project Manager in development of inspection and test plans, job packs and commissioning documentation specific to customer requirements.
- Assisting Project Manager on progress claims, cost of scope changes and technical reporting.
- Recovering costs on a weekly/monthly basis for job specific plant and equipment.
**About you**
To be considered, you will have some or all the following:
- A trade qualification in Distribution is essential
- A live line qualification and/or tertiary qualification at polytechnic is preferred.
- Hands-on experience on distribution network installation and maintenance.
- A thorough knowledge of current regulatory and industry requirements pertaining to the carrying out of all prescribed electrical work.
- Sound computer skills
