We're looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to work in our Village Palms Retirement Village based in Shirley, Christchurch. As a Physiotherapist Assistant you will be assisting the Physiotherapist within the village by carryout out duties to support our residents as part of their individualized mobility plans. Your experience and empathy to provide top-quality care will benefit and help our residents feel comfortable, supported and at ease in your care.

**This is a permanent part time position with a couple options available for you**:

- 10 hours per week working as a physio assistant
- If you are looking for more hours we can offer you 10 hours per week working as a physio assistant and 10 additional hours per week working as a caregiver

**About you**
- Previous experience as a Physiotherapist Assistant preferred
- Ability to provide high standard of written reports and documentation to professionally convey the progress made towards rehabilitation outcomes and ongoing goals for intervention.
- Maintaining accurate concise records are maintained detailing all pertinent resident information relating to the physiotherapy programme.
- Strong Customer focus
- Resilient and resourceful
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to comfortably converse with a diverse group of people
