About the Role

As Service Asset and Configuration Management Analyst you will be responsible for the regular maintenance of the completeness and accuracy of information, attributes and relationships between configuration items within the Datacom systems and client environment. To allow for their association with Incidents, Requests, Problems, Changes, and Service Continuity relating to Customer support. The purpose of this role is to ensure that the Configuration Management Database is accurate to allow the extraction of information to better support the customer. This role would suit somebody who has Service Desk experience.
What you’ll do
- Help maintain a well implemented, centrally coordinated, accurate and up-to-date Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Provision of accurate CMDB information into client billing reports
- Ensure Service Asset and Configuration Management processes are well understood and consistently implemented across all accounts
- Continual improvement of the Service Asset and Configuration Management process
- Accurate and timely monthly SACM reporting.

What you’ll bring
As SACM Analyst, you will bring strong IT technical understanding and analytical skills, with previous work experience with Configuration Management Systems in an IT Managed Service environment. You will have had hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as, but not limited to, CA Service Desk Configuration Management module.
You will also possess excellent Word, Visio and Excel skills as these are the primary tools for reporting and analytical work. You will have exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to remain calm and focused. It would be beneficial to be ITIL certified, and ITIL Configuration Management Practitioner would be an advantage but not essential.
