Their dedicated team is focused on conducting top-tier clinical trials in various therapeutic areas to improve the health and wellness of a diverse population.

**About The Opportunity**:
We are looking for a **Study Coordinator / Research Assistant** to join the team in **Christchurch** on a 6-12 Month Maternity Fixed Term contract with the potential to extend.

The primary purpose of these roles is to support, facilitate and coordinate the daily clinical trial activities and play a critical role in the conduct of the study.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Independently conduct study activities to ensure compliance with protocols with all relevant guidelines, local regulatory and organisational policies
- Ensure procedural aspects of studies including standards of care, informed consent procedures, or documentation procedures are carried out as required
- Collaborate with investigators to prepare presentations or reports of clinical study procedures, results, and conclusions
- Complete all steps related to the study start-up, conduct, and close-out phases
- Monitor work processes to ensure that the study is conducted within the allocated budget and in a timely manner

**About You**:

- Previous clinical research experience would be desirable
- Experience in administrative support in a busy environment
- Strong computer skills including MS Office
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

You will also have:

- Strong time management and organisational skills
- The ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of composure
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- The ability to work independently as well as a member of a dynamic team
