Christchurch Haematology Clinical Trials is a leading research unit dedicated to advancing healthcare through clinical trials and cutting-edge research in the field of haematology. We are seeking a Haematology Clinical Trials Administrator to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in supporting our research initiatives.

As part of the Administration and Clerical Pay Equity Claim settlement this role has been mapped to National Band 4/Profile 4

This position is a fixed term until 29/03/2024 working 16 hours per week.

As a Haematology Clinical Trials Administrator, you will be an integral part of our clinical trials team, providing essential administrative support. Your responsibilities will include:

- Accurate transcription from source workbooks to electronic data capture systems.
- Resolving queries as they arise in collaboration with the Study Coordinator as required.
- Assisting the Study Coordinators in the preparation of study documentation in accordance with GCP guidelines (e.g., screening and workbooks).
- Preparation of laboratory tube set-up in accordance with study protocol.
- Preparation of study documents for close-out and archiving of studies.
- Performing various study administrative tasks, including supply orders, faxing, filing, and photocopying.
- Providing cover and support for the teams Finance Administrator, to ensure accurate revenue control.
- Helping ensure data in the various Registries we participate in is up-to-date.
- Attending protocol-specific training to ensure all training requirements for the study are completed.
- Fulfilling general administrative responsibilities as required by the team.

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Advanced clerical/administrative experience.
- Pride in possessing a good work ethic, and enjoys working as part of a team.
- Proficiency in word processing with Microsoft Word.
- Experience with Excel or similar database software.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Sound knowledge of the English language.
- Experience in financial management would be an advantage.
- Some understanding of clinical trial research would be an advantage.
