**A little bit about the role**:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will ensure the prompt, accurate and timely input of accounts receivable data into the Financial System to ensure the accuracy of financial accounts.

Timely preparation and delivery of customer statements

Allocate payments received upon receipt

Proactively follow up on unpaid invoices to ensure prompt payment

Handle claims, including entering into the rebate database, collation of appropriate backup documents and distribution to sales staff, receiving back approved claims and processing credit notes, and updating the claims database with credit note numbers and/or declined notes.

Proactively follow up with sales staff for unreturned claims and/or customers for problem resolution on a timely basis

Re-ageing of invoices as approved by Credit Controller, Finance Manager or GM Finance, as required.

**Desired Experience & Qualifications**

Minimum 3 years’ experience in an accounts receivable role, preferably within a sales company environment

Proven experience and success in accounts receivable function within a finance and/or accounting environment, particularly regards the administration of mass retailers and claims process.

Sound accounting, accounts receivable knowledge and experience with credit control would be ideal

Working knowledge of Microsoft suite in particular in-depth working knowledge of Excel

You will be a great team player, a good communicator and someone able to have a laugh
