Compass Group NZ is excited to announce new opportunities within our team We're seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager - Operations to join us in driving operational excellence across multiple stakeholders in the Education sector making a difference across schools and university locations.
We want to hear from you if you're passionate about leadership, innovation, and making a difference The annual salary for this role ranges from $120k-$130k + benefits.
Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of operational strategies, driving performance across the Education sector and FY30 Vision.
Operational Excellence: Champion health, safety, and environment management, ensuring our people go home safe every day.
Focus on optimizing financial management, client relationships, and contract retention.
People Development: Foster cohesive teams by high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and developing our operational teams.
Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong, strategic client relationships at all levels, ensuring client retention and satisfaction.
Business Growth: Collaborate with Business Development teams to identify opportunities for growth and innovation within the sector and the region.
Financial Performance: Drive financial efficiency through cost management, labor optimization, and operational efficiencies.
Minimum Requirements: Strong multi-site operational and contract management experience.
Previous experience in senior-level operations management.
Proven track record of achieving operational excellence and profitability.
Exceptional leadership and people development skills, with a focus on diversity and inclusion.
Strong financial and commercial acumen.
Demonstrated success in change management and driving business performance.
Business or degree qualifications would be an advantage.
