Reporting to our GM Financial Operations, you'll drive efficiencies and elevate performance across our accounting function. The Opportunity - Te tūranga: As Head of Financial Reporting & Control you will lead the financial and management accounting function, providing technical and accounting support and driving process improvements and efficiencies. Your focus will be on Management of the statutory reporting, audit and month end close process. Management of direct taxation and cashflow across the business Supporting the GM Financial Operations and CFO with technical accounting advice and guidance and project work as required. Ownership of the Balance sheet and integrity of the general ledger. To be successful, you will need to have the following 5yrs+ PQE in financial accounting, preferably in large and complex organisations Experience as a Finance Manager/Financial Controller Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and ability to work through and understand complex process flows. Ability to work in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to create high performing teams. Excellent technical accounting skills including a working knowledge of IFRS and its business application. Strong communication skills, both with finance and non-finance stakeholders.
