A fantastic opportunity now exists for a talented Financial Controller to join the team in what is effectively a Head of Finance role for NZ. Reporting to the Head of Country NZ and a dotted line to the Australian CFO, you will lead a team of 5 and have a broad variety of responsibilities including:

  • Monthly management reporting and manage day to day financial activities
  • Preparation and review of statutory accounts
  • Tax compliance - income tax, GST, FBT, R&D applications
  • Budgeting/forecasting
  • Take ownership of annual audit and liaising with auditors
  • Cash flow management and liquidity planning
  • Adapt and implement financial and administrative strategy policies for the NZ business
  • Oversee AP/AR
  • Provide analytical advice to stakeholders and internal business partners
  • Ad hoc projects and process improvements

To be considered for this exciting and broad leadership role, you will be CA/CPA qualified, have 10+ years experience in a finance leadership role and have a strong technical accounting knowledge. You will also be an excellent communicator, a strong leader of people and have the ability to build relationships and interact with all levels of the business.
