We're seeking a seasoned, empathetic manager to spearhead a team focused on driving adoption of AWS with our Energy, Power Utilities and Mining Enterprise customers.

You'll have the business acumen and management background necessary to effectively add-value to field sellers who bring together cross-functional teams including sales, partner managers, professional services, business development, and product teams to deliver business growth for AWS and our partners.

Your responsibilities will include managing and growing a highly talented sales team focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration.

The ideal candidate will possess a sales management background that enables them to manage a team of account manager with engagements from the CxO level and manage a sales pipeline.

You should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical problems to solve, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Key job responsibilities

Your background in sales management will enable you to help your team of account managers and inside sales representatives with engagements from the CxO level, manage a sales pipeline and team with other AWS Sales Representatives, Solutions Architects and Partners within commercial Enterprise accounts.



Core duties:

  • Managing and growing a diverse and high performing team of sales professionals
  • Driving adoption of AWS' full suite of services into a set of strategic Energy, Power Utilities and Mining customers
  • Exceed annual revenue and growth targets, applying high standards to business operations
  • Ensure end customer satisfaction and strong executive relationships
  • Co-develop and help executing account plans with field sellers
  • Inspect joint GTM activities to drive and accelerate adoption of our products, working closely with AWS partner and cross-functional teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology related sales, business development or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of sales management experience
  • Experience in management of large, complex enterprise accounts or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience building and managing a healthy sales pipeline focused on driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration
