He kōrero mō te tūranga | The Role


Naturally, you will be a staunch advocate for Te Ao Māori and Tikanga Māori, with a passion for people, being vital in the Kaiārahi role.

The role is varied and requires travel across Kirikiriroa, Rotorua and Tauranga, Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki and Tūranganui-ā-Kiwa.

You will play an integral and active part in the regional leadership to influence how services and tikanga are delivered throughout the region.

The relationships you build and the networks you bring to the role will ensure you're successful.


You will have a blended schedule of working autonomously, interacting with Te Puna Ora Team and Regional Teams with evolving responsibilities.

  • Requires travel across Kiriroa, Rotorua and Tauranga, Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki and TūranganuiāKiwa
