We want to offer you training to become our next Rail Protection Officer

We will help you get the skills and qualifications to succeed in this role.


Once you are up to speed you'll see yourself responsible for providing rail protection for the work area, coordinating movement of rail vehicles within and through protected work areas and you will be responsible for communicating with train control.


Fulton Hogan has been supporting Kiwi Rail for over 20 years on the rail network covering all types of work from culvert maintenance / installing of culverts, bridge repairs, clearing major slips and derailments and working with the local track gangs on programme works all over Canterbury and the West Coast.

This position will require you to work independently and remotely.

What you'll bring to the table

We're looking for someone who is ready to take on a new challenge.

You'll be a logical thinker, show initiative and keen to build a great career within the New Zealand Rail Industry.

Finally you'll be driven and passionate about your work and ready to keep building your career.- Full clean class 1 licence (class 2 advantageous)- Flexibility is a must as some travel, weekend and night shift work will be required
