The Role:


This newly created role will design and deliver modern training solutions that address the needs of our people as we deploy significant business programmes.


You will use emerging technology to revolutionise the way we approach training and ensure a cohesive approach to training is maintained across the business; an approach which embeds the Silver Fern Farms Training Framework.


As the Training Lead, you will establish a network of training facilitators and provide them with strategic direction, while your team functionally partner with the Change and Programme Management teams to deliver connected & integrated training solutions across our ecosystem.


The Training Lead will:

  • Embed the Silver Fern Farms Training Framework across the division.
  • Develop strategies that focus on the future of our business and training approaches that support our future state.
  • Manage the implementation of our Enterprise Digital Adoption platform.
  • Ensure our people have the necessary knowledge and skills they need to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Create an engaging training strategy that is aligned with SFF's goals and objectives.
  • Report on quality and impact of the training delivery tools develop measures of quality, customer satisfaction, adoption of technology, and engagement.

What you'll bring to the role:
You'll showcase your ability to deliver positive training experiences that lead to successful learning outcomes using modern training approaches. Ideally, you'll have delivered a similar implementation of training strategy within a similar environment.


This role requires someone to deliver on a strategy, and to transform known business needs into people capabilities, so being deliverable focused is key.

The role requires a high level of interdependency to work effectively across all functions within Silver Fern Farms and will influence outcomes across the business.


Key attributes and experience:

  • Capability equivalent to five years' experience in a Training Lead or similar role
  • Sound knowledge of adult learning and training techniques
  • Previous experience delivering successful training resources in the technology space
  • Demonstrated ability to see the big picture and understand the strategic context of organisational programmes and change
