The role:


Working within the Emydex programme, the training coordinator role is pivotal in the successful preparation, coordination, and delivery of training for our site stakeholders and ensuring the smooth transition to business as usual of all training materials to the site training team.

Flexibility to travel at short notice and be away from home for long periods of time is essential.

Responsibilities:


Coordinating with plant leaders, site training teams, and other stakeholders, you will assist in the development of training material and delivery of onsite training.

Work with the site training coordinators to develop a training matrix, and supporting the site-based trainers to take ownership of training delivery upon completion of the project.


  • Develop sitespecific project training material
  • Organise people, session times, materials and record keeping
  • Visits sites across NZ to monitor, audit, and report on the effectiveness of the training
  • Ensure all training materials, documents, and modules are completed and passed on
  • Assist with the delivery of training, ensuring employees are trained to the required standards for their role
  • Assist site trainers with record collection and general documentation

Required experience:

  • Experience in a similar role, based on training / adult education
  • Good understanding of site operation processes
  • Broadbased experience or a sound knowledge of training practices and policies with a particular emphasis on the production environment.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Data bases, systems
  • Has achieved or has the ability to achieve the Limited Credit Package in Adult Education and Training Level
  • Learning design experience (proficiency in Articulate360) preferred but not essential
  • High level of digital literacy essential
