This is a fixed term role (finishing September 2025) where you would be playing a key role in building and managing strategy in our knowledge and information management space.

Te tūranga - The roleThe Principal Adviser, Knowledge and Information Management role will provide both strategic thought-leadership and operational excellence.

In this role you will be providing expert advice and working to define our strategic roadmap.

Reporting to the Director Knowledge and Information Management, this role will play a key part in refreshing our data, information and knowledge management strategy as we enter the next stage of our uplift journey.

Ō pūkenga - About youTo be successful in one of these roles you'll have:

  • Proven senior experience in a data, information, or knowledge management environment
  • Sound knowledge of data and information policy, practice and standards
  • Experience building and managing strategy in data, information, and knowledge management
  • Experience working with crossfunctional teams to deliver outcomes
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations related to digital initiatives, including data privacy, security and the Public Records Act
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholder groups to develop, support and implement people centred solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentational skills, confident and methodical approach, and able to work within a team environment
  • Experience working in financial services and / or the public sector would be advantageous
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaborative abilities and a willingness to share knowledge and expertise with others.
