The JB Hi-Fi New Zealand business comprises 14 stores and a growing online and commercial business.

There is a significant opportunity to grow and expand the JB Hi-Fi business in New Zealand and, over the next three years, we will be investing in improving the JB Hi-Fi New Zealand customer offer, refreshing the store network, opening new stores, and upgrading our online platform.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain trusted relationships with clients to determine their existing and future business needs
  • Understand the client's objectives, buying criteria and decisionmaking process and form longterm business partnerships
  • Actively and successfully manage the sales process from start to finish including managing and maintaining your sales pipeline, ensuring all sales enquiries are followed through
  • Identify and grow opportunities and collaborate with wider sales team to ensure maximum growth
  • Ensure reporting is up to date and accurate (meetings, calls, opportunities etc)
  • Attending industry events; tradeshows and networking nights to aid in the development of new business revenue
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives to drive sales
  • Accuracy of reporting and forecasting

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a high paced sales environment
  • Experience selling, I.T and appliances
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (high beneficial)
  • Exceptional Sales skills with a proven track record
  • Strong leadership skills the ability to engage, mentor and motivate
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Client focused i.e. committed to delivering innovative solutions that are tailored specifically to clients business needs
  • Excellent customer/stakeholder engagement skills
  • Financial knowledge and business acumen
  • Highly motivated with ability to work as part of a team
  • Competent computer skills
  • Current Driver's License
