Learning Systems Administrator | Wellington

Te Aho o Te Kura Pounamu (Te Kura) is New Zealand's largest school with a roll of up to 24,000 ākonga (students) at any point of time. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood to NCEA Level 3, including to young adult and adult learners.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive Learning Systems Administrator with a strong administrative background to hit the ground running and provide efficient, highly responsive administrative support to Big Picture teaching and learning systems.

This position involves a variety of duties such as:

  • Providing administrative systems support
  • Assisting with the evaluation of user requirements and potential technology solutions andconducting upgrade testing and release
  • Administration relating to all aspects of the prizegiving and practice examination cycles
  • Developing strong relationships with teaching staff and support teams and providing aprofessional level of service to all clients

As this is a busy role, we are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has excellent customer service skills, and enjoys building strong working relationships. As well as this, you will bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft office products and other administrative technology
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills
  • High standard of accuracy and organisational skills
