About the role

As Engineering Coordinator, you will support the development and implementation of good practice asset management systems, processes, policies and plans to ensure the gas distribution network is developed to meet customers' needs and Vector's strategic objectives.


You'll play a pivotal role in optimising the efficiency and effectiveness of our gas network operations by overseeing a range of crucial tasks, including standards management, risk assessment, performance monitoring, documentation, and asset management.

This role will also involve occasional field visits to coordinate with our Field Service Partners working on our network.

Who we are looking for

  • We envisage you may be an Engineering Graduate, and familiar with infrastructure
  • Project coordination experience would be ideal
  • You'll be highly organised, and a proactive and enthusiastic selfstarter
  • Existing knowledge of gas networks would be highly advantageous
  • We're keen to support your professional development and growth, so bring your ambition

Along the way, you'll gain broad exposure to a variety of different areas, as the team is small and dynamic enough to work collaboratively very effectively.


You can also look forward to getting out from behind your desk, visiting sites to coordinate with our Field Service Providers, giving you a great balance of being desk-based and field-based in this position.
