Fantastic Opportunity currently exists for an Engineering Clerk to join a highly engaged team and in a role where you can really leave your mark. Based in Wiri, this role will provide support to the Engineering Department with administrative & technical stores tasks and activities.
**A day in the life**
Reporting to the Engineering Manager and play an active role in the management of the factory technical store in alignment with Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE), other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enable world class maintenance by providing the right spare parts at the right time in the right conditions.
- Manage the Technical Store goods movement (inward and outward items); stock is recorded and stored in a tidy and orderly manner and according to H&S standards; ensure regular stocktakes are performed and able to operate Forklift.
- Utilise AMM to ensure proper Technical Store management. Ensure Store items are kept in accordance with site and legislative requirements.
- Manage the schedule for Annual Asset Counts including providing lists to respective departments; maintain asset control for the factory in SAP (e.g. acquisitions and deletions).
- Actively participate in site health, safety and continuous improvement initiatives
- Test & Tag of electrical equipment (training can be provided)
**What will make you successful**
- 3 years’ experience in a technical field, preferable food processing or consumer goods industry (as Storekeeper, Technician, Maintenance Planner, Supervisor or other similar position)
- Demonstrated experience in the organization of stores, technical workshops or similar workplaces.
- Basic exposure to coordination or planning of maintenance activities, considering safety, food safety and other constraints.
- Experience participating in basic SH&E and Food Safety training.
- Experience with IT systems and TPM, preventive maintenance planning and maintenance execution.
- Basic exposure to supervisory experience with technical teams, mechanical and electrical (contractors, suppliers or 3rd parties).
- Basic exposure to equipment and spare parts used in instrumentation and control, industrial services, electricity, general food and beverage industry.
- Participation in multi-disciplinary teams aiming to process or packing optimisation.
- Work following defined indicators/Objectives, and proactively tracking them.
- Clear and effective communication skills are essential.
- The right person must be proactive, thorough, and detailed, with a high level of relationship building.
