Kōrero mō te Tūranga - About the Role

We have an exciting and important opportunity for you to make your mark in shaping how Manatū ahu Matua MPI grows and develops our early in career workforce.

You will bring thought leadership, programme management, and outstanding relationship management skills to develop and manage our graduate development and intern programmes.

This is a unique role requiring both a strong people and relationship focus balanced with the ability to deliver a programme that has many moving parts.

This role will provide opportunity and scope to work in a collaborative way with other Principal Advisers and our Talent Acquisition colleagues across the People and Capability function, and to contribute toward making our workplace positive, safe, and inclusive.

This is a people leadership role with responsibility for an Adviser who will work across our early in career and leadership programmes.

Mōu - About You

To be successful in this role, you will be someone with experience in bringing a range of stakeholders together in order to deliver a programme or project that has agreed organisational outcomes.

You will also have up to date knowledge of research and trends in 'early in career' programmes and initiatives.

Your experience may include a range of exposure to learning and development, employee engagement/people experience, performance management, and/or workforce planning, but will definitely involve coaching and mentoring others.

We are open to a variety of specific experience, but most importantly, you will be someone with genuine care and empathy, excellent listening and communication skills, and proven planning, organisational, and relationship management skills.
