Āu Mahi | What You Will Do

We are looking for an office coordinator extraordinaire; a high-flyer - possibly from an executive background - for whom part-time hours are a must.

This role is integral to the success of the Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Hub, with plenty of opportunity to get involved in various exciting kaupapa across the team.

You will actively contribute to the team and provide professional, high-quality administrative capability in a proactive, efficient, and effective manner.


Mōu | Who You Are
This role will bring together your previous five years administrative experience (ideally in a large diverse organisation) as well as your:

  • Experience supporting senior members of staff and the needs of diverse wider teams
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration, and relationshipbuilding skills as the first portofcall for stakeholders to reach the WIL Hub.
  • Selfmotivated, innovative, and adaptable attitude we are looking for a proactive team player
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and prioritise competing workload and demands.
  • Ability to problemsolve, pay attention to the smallest of details, and approach all tasks thoroughly.

Student employability and preparing students for their future working lives is the focus for our WIL team through uplifting Work-Integrated Learning opportunities throughout a student's studies.

We are a diverse group with varied backgrounds, combining our skillsets to achieve transformational outcomes for students at the University of Canterbury.

Specifically, this role will work closely with the Director to navigate the delivery of our key goals, and directly impact a strong, supported team culture.

Our team also works closely with UC Careers.
