  • Your Opportunity
  • We are seeking an outstanding Operations Manager to join our Tauranga North Branch.
  • This role involves managing the processing of all inbound and outbound freight, ensuring optimal resource utilization for financial success. Additionally, you will lead the operations team to deliver high service standards in a safe working environment. You will have a supportive manager dedicated to your professional growth within the organization. Your learning and development are our priorities.
  • Working as part of the Team Global Express team, you will build effective relationships and communicate with internal and external customers.
  • What you'll bring to this role
  • To excel in this position, you must be an experienced people leader with strong communication, influencing, and outcome delivery skills. Emphasis on Health and Safety, along with substantial experience in the transport industry, will be key to your success. Knowledge of operational cost and resource management will be advantageous.
  • Key responsibilities
  • Oversee branch operations to ensure smooth freight flow for customers
  • Daily and strategic planning of personnel and fleet
  • Lead, inspire, and manage a team
  • Provide precise and timely operational reports
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and regulations
  • Meet and uphold financial/operational KPIs
