As the result of an internal promotion, we are on the search for a fantastic People Operations Lead to join our People Services team. This is an exciting role which is responsible for delivering outstanding customer service across global people transactional & operational services including HR and employee related transactional services, people policy, guidelines & process excellence.
Developing and implementing People Policy, Guidelines, Toolkits and processes in a global context will be a key to focus for the People Operations Lead. In addition leading the global People & Payroll Advisory team, to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of people services, and a positive employee experience is vital.
Leading a global team means lots of opportunity to learn, share and improve, and flexibility in working hours will be needed.
Key Responsibilities includes:
- People Operations Services - resourcing, planning and management of the People Operations team to ensure global service delivery has a clear direction and the team is delivering expert people advice and service.
- Operational Delivery - delivering digitally enabled transactional operations to our people and the business ensuring outstanding service and support to Leaders providing them with the best tools and information possible to ensure they support their people to deliver their best.
- People Services Strategy - contributing to the setting and delivery of the overall direction of the People Services strategy and operational delivery to ensure that Zespri continues to evolve, innovate and lead in the People arena, ensuring a winning culture and an environment where our people flourish.
- Process Excellence - developing and reviewing Zespri’s People Process Excellence strategy and roadmap, prioritizing and focusing to deliver global and local people policies, guidelines and practices which will support Leaders to achieve business performance and drive efficiencies.
- Team Leadership - partnering with the Global Payroll Lead to lead a global people operations team and develop a values-driven, high-performing and engaged global People Operations team by providing direction and inspiring and empowering them to succeed.
- Zespri Culture - leading and driving a winning culture of high performance within the business by ensuring the Zespri values remain ‘alive’ and are understood, embraced and actively demonstrated by all leaders and employees.
- Stakeholder Engagement - building trust and rapport with stakeholder groups, identifying cross functional and regional representation across the organisation as applicable to processes and services being reviewed.

We are looking for a solid HR generalist who is able to demonstrate the impact they have made within a complex, global environment. Being a strong People Leader who thrives on delivering a customer centric centralised service you will also have:
- Strong experience in developing people policies, guidelines and tools
- Experience managing and delivering centralised HR transactional services (preferably on a global scale)
- Process orientated and organized
- Knowledge expert in HR transactional services in complex/global environment
- Experience in delivering process improvement
- Extensive knowledge of HR people processes and practices
- Management of stakeholders to deliver process change and excellence
- Change management experience - impact analysis on end user and internal service delivery
- Ability to develop and deliver training
- Experience in using technology to effectively support people processes
- Strong verbal and written communication
- A degree level qualification (preferably in HR, OD, Industrial Relations, or Business Management)
