About the role
We are looking for someone who can contribute to our success by providing:

  • Delivering the civil construction requirements for large-scale solar farms, including pile-driving using our brand-new state of the art GPS-Automated machinery.
  • Working in cooperation with the Project Lead to coordinate staff and subcontractors;
  • Reporting on progress to Project Lead
  • Ensuring all people working on the project adhere to internal systems and health and safety legislation and Worksafe procedures
  • Conducting day to day health and safety requirements on site, such as toolboxes, daily meetings, and multiple work streams


You'll be tasked with working on our many projects throughout New Zealand but at times in the pacific, owning the civil construction aspects of solar farms.

Working to tight timeframes and closely with our contractors, you'll be forming the foundations of the project to ensure the successful delivery of key milestones.

We're looking for natural leaders, who understand how a site operates and who can get the most out subcontractors. This is a "hands on" role, and experience with operating machinery is essential.


You must be able to work alongside multiple contractors on site, identify improvements and initiatives to add value to the business, and deliver precise and quality work.


Skills and experience required

  • WTR license, with experience operating machinery essential
  • Class 1& 2, 4 preferred but can be part of development.
  • Experience as a foreman is preferable
  • Shows initiative, has attention to detail and follows through.
  • Problem solving ability.
  • Able to multitask, be organized and have good time management skills.
  • Resourceful, positive, proactive attitude, and able to engage with people.
  • Current clean manual Drivers License.
  • Read and understand construction drawings/plans
