**ABOUT THE ROLE
A great opportunity for someone who is passionate about the sales and operations planning process with a market leader.

In this role, you will be is responsible for ensuring that a well-oiled sales and operations planning process is in place which will result in improved inventory management, better sales and budget forecasting, as well as clear understanding of a product’s lifecycle and its management. You will have a strong desire to continuously improve the sales and operations process through the Ballance Production System.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will
- Work collaboratively to build strong external and internal working relationships
- Run an efficient planning function supported by system driven MRP planning processes
- Ensure effective inventory management and supply planning to reduce supply chain costs
- Deliver on key performance metrics, set and achieve targets for planning accuracy and customer supply fulfilment
- Manage external supplier performance and participate in performance meetings and reviews with key suppliers

**ABOUT YOU
You are a high performing Senior Planner looking for a new challenge at a leading agriculture company which operates across New Zealand.

To be considered for this role, you will have the following:

- Senior experience leading a Sales and Operations functional area (Market Insights, Demand, Supply and or Finance),
- Proven knowledge and experience in Supply Chain management
- Experience with SAP ECC and APO (IBP - Integrated Business Planning exposure would be beneficial)
- Strong analytical, organizational and decision-making skills Excellent communicator and well organized
