Capgemini's Platform team are looking for a passionate, talented DevOps Engineer to join a successful platforms practice. You'll be working with Capgemini's valued customers, alongside an accomplished, supportive team in a collaborative atmosphere.

Let's talk about the role and responsibilities:

  • Support the Cloud Infrastructure team who perform configuration and migration plus on-going support and administration of multiple Azure Cloud environments
  • Be an accelerator for Development and maintenance of process automation, nurturing and leading more DevOps ways of working across our team
  • Evolve our proactive monitoring, issue resolution and request management, while ensuring quality delivery and best practice is applied.

Let's talk about your capability and experience:

  • A natural drive for automation
  • Expected specialisation in some of the following: Azure DevOps, Azure Functions/Logic Apps, deployment CI pipeline creation and enhancement, ARM templates, Bicep, Azure Blueprints and scripting to support automation efforts (PowerShell/Bash),
  • Strong experience with Azure Cloud
  • Azure IaaS and PaaS, including: Azure Portal, CLI, Key Vault, Azure Workbooks
  • Must have experience with version control
  • Operating knowledge about operating systems (Windows and Linux)
  • Understand DevOps Concepts and best practices and be in a position to lead the implementation and embedding those practices.
  • Understand Access management to Azure DevOps.
  • Operating knowledge with Azure Lighthouse and Microsoft Partner Centre will be beneficial
  • Issue troubleshooting skills
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills
  • Must have experience with Yaml defined Pipelines in ADO
  • Sound operating knowledge using and configuring monitoring systems
  • Must have experience with developing infrastructure as code (Terraform, Bicep, ARM)
  • Must have operating knowledge implementing Identity Access Management on the Azure platform and also Identity governance.
  • Operating knowledge on Azure Privilege Identity Management (Administration and Consumption)
  • Operating knowledge about hybrid networking will be beneficial
