About The Role:

We are looking for a Platform Engineer to produce and implement functional software delivery pipelines and cloud hosting solutions. You will work with Platform Lead to define pipeline and hosting requirements and deliver on operational and technical projects.

In this role, you should be able to work independently with some supervision. You should have excellent organization and problem-solving skills.


Your goal will be to develop high-quality pipelines and cost effective hosting solutions that are aligned with users' needs and business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and enhance the functionality of Valocity pipelines and hosting solutions.
  • Learn existing systems functionality and topography.
  • Complete all phases of software development life cycle including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and support.
  • Undertake problemsolving and issue resolution.
  • Communicate clearly with engineers and delivery teams.
  • Build automation, deployment, and monitoring solutions.
  • Design, develop, and manage cloudbased infrastructure on Azure.
  • Implement continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Develop and manage Docker containers and implement multistage builds.
  • Collaborate with the development team to optimize the cloudbased environment. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the cloud platform.


Key requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, and other science related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, administration, and Infrastructure as Code. Be up to date with modern continuous delivery practices. Measuring and designing for nonfunctionals, like reliability, availability, security, and performance. Minimum three or more year's experience. Working with Azure cloud and the key services it provides including PAAS, IAAS, Containers, Kubernetes, Helm. Develop pipelines and hosting solutions using docker, bash, Yaml, Azure DevOps Pipelines. Develop Infrastructure as Code using tools such as ARM, Bicep or Terraform. Understanding of GitOps, SecOps, DevOps practices. Competent in use of Git. Familiar with technical writing using Markdown -
