About the role:

We're looking for an experienced Senior Broker to join our Corporate team in Central Auckland.

As part of an industry leading team, you'll work closely with a corporate portfolio of clients by providing top quality service and technical advice and direction.

You will manage an established book of clients with broad risks portfolios where you will be responsible for handling general day to day queries, renewals, mid-term adjustments and supporting new business opportunities. You will be natural at engaging people with exceptional communication and relationship building skills to service, develop and maintain a well-established portfolio of loyal clients.

Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience of managing a Corporate portfolio
  • A high degree of commercial acumen
  • Ability to understand and analyse complex needs and comprehensive knowledge of insurance policies
  • Analytical ability to assimilate information quickly and accurately to ensure best possible solutions for customers
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, generate and convert business opportunities
  • The ability to build and maintain enduring relationships with clients
  • A demonstrated understanding of New Zealand insurance regulations
  • Holds or is working towards a Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5)
