Tyler Wren is working with a leading global broker to recruit a senior aviation broker into their busy, well-established team.

In delivering expert insurance risk consulting advice and products in aviation, you will be a trusted adviser holding relationships with key decision makers leading the growth, acquisition and renewal for large corporate clients across New Zealand, Australia and Asia.

About the role:
  • Be involved in the development and execution of the strategic business growth plan to meet and exceed targets
  • Create, write and construct client proposals and tender submissions, including value-driven presentations to clients
  • Relationship development and management of client relationships
  • Gather and build knowledge of the client's business and market to deliver first-class advice
  • Manage renewals including resolving any client queries
  • Key relationships advising on aviation which will undertake risk consulting including writing and presenting client proposals
  • Stakeholder engagement cross-selling across the business
  • Liaise with team members to build aviation specialist knowledge
  • Coaching and mentoring support staff and other team members taking on leadership responsibilities from time to time
About you:
  • 7 - 10 years of experience in corporate and aviation insurance
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage complex client accounts
  • Ability to write tender submissions including presentations to prospective decision-makers
  • Senior-level Experience with identifying and generating aswell as negotiating opportunities with key decision-makers
  • Hold, work towards or agree to complete the New Zealand Certificate in Financial Services Level 5
