Provide leadership and guidance to a small administration team based at the IDEA Services Wairarapa branch located in Masterton.

  • Hands on position providing administration support to the Area Manager and the wider team.
  • Permanent Full Time core business hours Monday to Friday.


Our fun, inclusive and energetic team are currently seeking a focused and experienced
Administration Manager to drive the administration team in delivering a high-level of administration and reception duties to visitors and staff at the IDEA Services Wairarapa branch.


Responsible for the successful delivery of day-to-day administration operations, you will have the ability to resolve problems and issues quickly, and to provide effective leadership to the Administration team (1.5FTE).

You will have a collaborative operating style and a positive and engaged mind-set.


This is an exciting opportunity for a focused and self-motivated administrator with strong organisational skills, excellent customer service, the ability to quickly build strong professional relationships to be part of an organisation that is making a difference in our community.


The position has become available due to internal movement and career progression, and so full orientation and training will be provided, and on-hand when needed.


You will need:

  • Strong administration experience (general administration, PO's, bank reconciliation)
  • Demonstrated People Management experience with the ability to motivate, support and guide others.
  • The ability to quickly solve issues and problems, and respond effectively under pressure.
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive rapport quickly.
  • Working Microsoft Office experience, and confidence in using MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
