Mō te tūranga | About the role
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our Information Management Team. Our team supports Waikato Regional Council in using information systems efficiently to ensure that our records are well managed. You will be involved in the management of both our physical records and electronic records.

Key components of the role include:

  • Providing assistance and advice to staff
  • Undertaking records management tasks within our document management system
  • Processing inwards correspondence and requests
  • Management of offsite storage requests
This is a part time role with the hours of work being 20 per week.

  • You will have excellent communication and people skills.
  • You are someone who pays great attention to detail.
  • You will have good time management skills, ensuring key tasks are handled in a timely manner.
  • You will work well as part of a team.

Mō ngā pūkenga | Qualifications and experience

  • Experience in an administrative or records management role
  • Microsoft Office at intermediate level
  • Experience in using an Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS) desirable
  • NCEA level 2 or higher

This role sits in the Information Management team within the Information Services section. We are a friendly and supportive team who work well together to enable the wider organisation. We are always looking for ways to do things better and help staff to work more effectively.
